As I searched for fabrication methods of ceramic molten metal filters, it seems that they are commonly produced by dipping a polymer preform (usually PU) in a slurry and then processed to remove the polymer. How this reticulated PU foam is made then?
like any kind of PU foam you need to optimize the ratio of used polyol, diisocyante, foaming agent, surface tension modifier.
mix polyol, foaming agent, surface tension modifier and ceramic additive then add diisocyante.

What is the best choice to use as a foaming agent and surface tension modifier? And about the percentage of the constituents?
The best defined by your polyol and isocyanate...
I don't keep numbers in my mind...
