i am working with an insoluble drug....i want to increase its solubility in water by a simple and easy technique like adding 20% of methanol to it or by shaking/heating process.or something like that...
can anyone suggest me such process ?plzzzzz

my study is with protein which is denatured by urea...so how can i proceed furthur ?

i have no idea about surfactant but surfactant denatuers protein i guess....
I am not expert of this kind of problum but i think you may try it. Firstly you may use sodium salt of the drugs and may use ionic liquid as additive. However it is a toxic way
I think you may add β-Cyclodextrin, as additive. it increases the aqueous solubility of poorly water soluble drugs.
You can change the amount of solubility by changing the pH range of the solution.
If you can add in alcoholic solution with mixing of PVK-30 and Dioctyl sodium sulfosuccinate as a srfuctant and mix with stirrer up to clear solution, then dry and check water solubility, definitely solubility will increase and tell.
Otherwise simple way; you can add in alcoholic solution with mixing of sodium acetate solution with stirrer, then dry and check water solubility, definitely solubility will increase and tell.
