How much time the bacterial cells can withstand saline water?

I use saline (0.9%NaCl) to resuspend bacterial cells for inoculation. My question is for how much time can I use this suspension in my experiments?

From my experiments, they can withstand for 3 days for sure. I did not try longer time. Worth to try it though.
