We conducted a research in saline-sodic soil, where soil having ESP 12.2, SAR 15.3, EC 7 dS/m and soil was silt clay in texture. We found that total uptake (at ripening stage of rice) of Na was 20-30 kg/ha, where grain yield was 3-4 ton/ha.

On the other hand, another researcher found 7-12 kg/ha Na uptake in the same (approximate) situation.

I am confused which one is more accurate? I also need to know what is the amount of Na uptake by rice in normal soil. Could you please anyone help me?
