We're looking at storing serum and plasma samples from a clinical trial. I've looked at various papers, but the only place where I found some hazy answer was in the supplementary. But I'm hoping, if you've done this before, to share your experience with sample volumes for storage.

For metabolomics and lipidomics we use plasma and serum samples (500 microL aliquot per sample) shipped on dry ice and stored at -80 C
It depends on the source of your biofluid sample. Aliquots of 1 mL would be sufficient.
