I want to study fish hematology parameters and Biochemical parameters: SOD, CAT, GSH-Px, TC, TG, LDL, HDL,AST, ALT, Na+/K+-ATPase, alkaline phosphatase, Glutamyl transpeptidase, cortisol, and glucose, IGF-1. Gene expression HSP 70, HSP 90,IL-IB, TNF, however i'm struggling to get the total cost of this kind of research. any help? be specific on the currency unit. thank you!
It depends on the sample numbers. You give me a huge list of biomarkers, genes, etc. In general, this research on antioxidant system (SOD\CAT\GSH-Px, and so on) would cost you about 1200 U.S. dollars ($ 1200.00) for 96 samples. If you assayed hormone (cortisol, GH, IGF-I) using commercial RIA kits, you would spend about 2300 U.S. dollars ($ 2300.00) for 96 samples. The cost of TG, LDL, HDL,AST, ALT, Na+/K+-ATPase, and alkaline phosphatase would be $ 1100.00. The genes cost for reagents would be more than $3000.00. I think the actual cost would be at least $10,000.00 - $ 15,000.00 for 96 samples.
