I want estimate citric acid from fermented and unfermented sample using titration method.I want to know how much fermented sample can I take and how much do I need to dilute it to? And what should i use for the dilution a solvent or distilled water?
It would better if someone could provide me with references.

If your dealing with fruit juice sample transfer 10 g juice into conical flask or beaker and add 25 ml quantity of distilled water. Then add 2 drops of phenolphthalein and stir. Rapidly titrate the contents with 0.1 M NaOH solution, continue to add alkali drop by drop and stirring the content till first definite change to pink colour. Note down the final burette reading.
