How much does bacterial identification cost? Which laboratories (in the Philippines or in Southeast Asia) can provide a reliable and the most affordable species-specific identification for bacteria isolated from the environment?
It depends, if you want to use identification kits which is very fast and costs around 20 dollars per an isolate
Or alternatively run your own biochemical tests which is cheap but consumes time!!!

Hi, we want to isolate a mixed culture that has been very dificult to isolate using agar plate techniques. Apparently our strain grows better in liquid media but not in solid anaerobic agar. We tried for months to isolate, but still at 16S analysis appears contaminated with a second strain. Do you do the service for isolation?. Do you know a laboratory that offers the service? Thank you
