I want to treat MCF7, MCF10, and MDA-MB-231 cells with a drug that is dissolved in DMSO.
Does anyone have experience with the cytotoxicity of DMSO on these specific cell lines?
Or if DMSO interferes with cell adherence?
Also for anyone who uses these cell lines, how long are their regular growth/doubling patterns.

I have worked with MCF-7, I always tried not to exceed 1% of DMSO, in this quantity it does not interfere with the lineage, it has doubling time of approximately 26-29 h.

In general the safe level of dmso for difderrent cell lines is under 1% .

We did use 1% as well and did not find any adverse/toxic effects on cellular behaviours of MCF-7 cells
