I recently withdrew a paper under review from publication because myself and the other author did not agree with the reviewers' comments. Basically, we felt that they were trying to control the content too much. The editor only directly followed the comments of the reviewers and did not consider the view of the authors. How much control on content should the reviewer have on the content of a paper?
