I have had to delay my Arabidopsis transformation due to problems with my constructs, so I have trimmed inflorescences and siliques from my ~1 month Arabidopsis plants 2 times already. The plants have been watered and they seem a bit old but healthy; can I trim them a 3rd time without reducing transformation efficiency too drastically?

I think you can trim them as long as the leaves are not dying yet. I have done it twice for transformation and three times for crossing. I know it is not exactly the same thing but I think it would be fine.
What ecotype are you using? One of the more robust types like Columbia should be fine. You might want to give the plants a bit of fertilizer to encourage more growth.
Thank you Svetlana Boycheva Woltering , I trimmed them a 3rd time and they seem to be doing fine. I am using Columbia Katie A S Burnette , will transform the soon and will make sure to add some fertilizer!
