I am looking for the total number of students enrolled in hospitality and tourism education in India. A fair approximation may also suffice, as I need the data to calculate market size for forecasting. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

We are a bunch of ex hoteliers and educators who are working towards hosting hospitality content on a cloud based LMS platform. In this regard we are trying to ascertain the market size and potential in India. This would certainly involve all level of education, including the vocational education. We have not planned to launch our product outside Asia, for the time being.

Dear sir,
At present there are more than 80 institutes are operating under nchmct, where each institute is having an average no of 400-500 students.
So total students are appro. 35000-40000.
If we include the students from private institutions and universities, so almost similar number of students are studying .
Hence total population may be approx 80000.
