How many Drosophila larvae will give a reasonable RNA concentration using TRizol extraction method?

I am using the Trizol to extract RNA from 3rd instar larvae and wondering how many larvae usually give a good RNA concentration considering larvae is mostly a fat tissue?

Using 3-4 third instar larvae in 1ml of TRIzol should give you decent concentration of RNA. Increasing the number of larvae, from my experience, results in higher concentration but impure RNA.
