I am doing Gst-pi Enzyme Inhibition Assay. I bought Glutathione S-Transferase from human placenta (lyophilized powder, 25-125 units/mg protein). In product information sheet the storage temperature is -20 degree. But There is nothing about the storage time after dilution.
So if anyone know, please help me to provide the information, how many days I can use my diluted enzyme if I store at -20

It is not a good practice to store dilute enzyme solutions. They often lose activity. Concentrated enzyme solutions (e.g. 1 mg/ml and higher), in contrast, can often be stored frozen for a long time without loss of activity. It is better to store them at -80 C or in liquid nitrogen than at -20 C. When freezing the solution, you should freeze it rapidly, such as in a dry-ice acetone or dry-ice-ethanol bath, or liquid nitrogen. Freeze many small aliquots so that you don't have to freeze-thaw a sample many times.
