Vesica is part of adeagus of male genitalia in insects. I came across with presence of cornuti on the vesica of some Saturniid genera including genus Loepa. I want to know number of cornutal spines in the Loepa katinka species.
The cornuti in Loepa katinka shows usually 2 variable, usually small sclerotised areas (not always real cornuti, sometimes just humps) to the right and left side (often just patchy or short partial ring-like on the vesica).
