There is need of men and women for different filed operations. Equipment should be operated efficiently with better safety and comfort.
Anything that may reduce exhaustion and drudgery is welcome.
For example, instead of hand operated manual knapsack sprayers,battery operated and tractor operated sprayers are much helpful.
Similarly for cotton picking,which is mostly done by women, a mechanical picker may be best option as it reduces time and painful exercises.
Paddy transplanters as per Indian requirements,as most of manual labours have to bend their back for 8-10 hours a day for paddy transplanting.
This is very exhausting and hard to do work which needs precise mechanical options.

Precision agriculture is more women friendly than conventional agriculture. e.g. women can operate Robots with comfort doing different field operations like fertilization, weeding etc.
