Hi Susana. I believe there is not an easy answer for that question. It depends on the scope of your research, as I understand it. For instance, mowing can have a deep impact in some rangelands provided that they haven't been mowed and/or grazed for a long time (closures). However, if the rangeland is one that has a history of previous disturbances, and/or has co-evolved with sheeps or other herbivores, you might find it difficult to see differences in the short term. Having said that, you would need to identify the type of rangeland you want to work on and what type of differences you are trying to encounter. I am working in Facultad de Ciencias Agrarias (UNL), close by, though right now in in New Zealand. May I ask what type of work you're planning to do? Are you working on Rangelands from Santa Fe province? If so, where at?
Feel free to contact me if I can be of any help. Good luck!
