I see in literature that exist a possibility of storing soil and litter samples at -20 ° C and animal samples (Collembola in my case) at -12 ºC for some time, but I have not found anything talking about how long these stored samples are still viable for doing PLFA analysis. Is there any study addressing this? Any recommendation?
