How long could you be without your phone?

A lot of the work that I have to do needs the internet so when I am away from my computer I work on my phone. I would not be able to be off of my phone for a full 24 hours unless I simply do not have an internet connection.
Phones aren't a life necessity, they have just recently become a thing of an extreme life convenience. Certainly, the sooner you get your phone the better. However, one cannot compare it with a life necessity of, for instance, water, food, etc.
Seven days, when I was sick at the hospital. Thus, it becomes a habit to live without my phone.
A smartphone in the modern world is not only a means of communication (telephone), but also an assistant in many tasks, including professional ones. Therefore, very often a person constantly turns to a smartphone, not only of his own free will, but also of necessity. However, this cannot be considered social dependence on a smartphone in the full sense.
I agree with Andrey Skorobogatov and Abbas J. but I prefer laptop than smart phone in professional work.
For me, maybe only one day because the phone contains all my life and everything related to my work
In our day to day life, mobile has become quintessential. Since we have to carry out so many activities that needs urgent attention.
If I force myself then I can leave apart this mobile, YES.

Since mobile phone has become essential in doing many tasks in our lives, so I can leave the phone for two or three hours at most.
During sleep only and until I wake up , and it is beside me during that time .

Thank you for your reply! It seems the average will go 2 -3 hours.
If without your phone means to you (without social media) i can stay away from it for at least more than a week .
And if yoy mean dont even touch it . In that case no proffesionel one can do .
Because we use our email, calling someone or get called my someone . Which all are for daily life needed .
So i think your question it needs to me in more details
It is difficult, the phone mean communication and all social media. May be one day!
When I'm busy or on a trip, I can leave my cell phone for several hours. In normal times I can leave my mobile phone for half an hour.

I can live without a phone since I have not got any. It is a very, very expensive device. For me it is not a life necessity.

can't call, needed when outside, to work, otherwise, live withou...
it is not vital for life... I need it coz I have it... life may change but surely will not stop without a phone
Well when i am engrossed in my work i do not bother about looking at the mobile. But if i have free time i tend to browse the net, or talk to family and friends.

The last time I tried it was 20 days, i was in vacation, i don't know if the automatic message i left in my email count or not.
