Hi Md i advise to not use PBS stored for long period as PBS loss its stability by long storge. Most of PBS that prepared from fresh ingredients or obtained from commercial sources not advise to be used after 12 month of their manifacture.
Below is a PBS (pH7.4) product from Life Technology (Gibco). According to its instruction, you can store this solution at 15-30C for 24 months (see below). The listed price is $18 (US). I think if your lab budget is not restrained, you may consider to change a new bottle before the expiration day.
PBS (phosphate buffered saline) is a balanced salt solution used for a variety of cell culture applications, such as washing cells before dissociation, transporting cells or tissue, diluting cells for counting, and preparing reagents. PBS is formulated without calcium and magnesium for rinsing chelators from the culture before cell dissociation.
By the way, these 2 companies states that the shelf life for their PBS products are at least 1 year (see attachments). Some suggested that when PBS solutions become turbid, it should be discarded.
