How long after staining cells with fluorescent dye can we incubate without losing the signal?

Stained KYSE with CFSE and M1 macrophage with ER Tracker Red and incubated for 2 days. No fluorescence was detected under the fluorescence microscope. Any suggestions?

Dead cells can lose fluorescence - have you check your cell.

Also, try to incubate for short period of time such as 4 -6 hours.
