We use 12N Hcl (20 volumes) to digest the tissue at 110-degree celsius for overnight, to do colorimetric assay for hydroxyproline assay. The hydrolysate will be centrifuged and supernatant will be separated. The supernatant will be used for HYP assay. So my question is how long the supernatant can be stored and at what condition it should be stored? Please guide me with proper references. Thanks in advance.
