dear all,
the CT scan will give us HU value for each voxel, (voxel size around 0.076 mm). In the mimics software, using the tetrahedral element (size 2 mm) meshing the objective, it shows the HU value for each element node, (x,y,z, HU).
is anyone knows, how is the HU value be signed into each element node?

You can do this using 3D Slicer (https://www.slicer.org), a very powerful, free, open-source medical image segmentation and analysis application. You can segment the image using Segment Editor module, then create volumetric mesh using SegmentMesher ( https://github.com/lassoan/SlicerSegmentMesher#segment-mesher-extension), and finally, sample the original volume using points of the volumetric mesh using Probe Volume with Model module.
