Hello to fellow researchers,

I would like to view DNA using AFM. What I want to look at more specifically is 300nm long double stranded DNA.

In AFM, samples can be visuallised either in solution or in air. I want to know sample preparation for DNA in each case.

Since I have never done AFM or just known that it is easier to prepare samples than TEM, which is the technique I performed before, if you could elaborate extensively, that would be great.

I also have the doubt whether 2nM thick double-stranded DNA can be 'effectively' or 'clearly' visuallised in AFM (maybe, old AFM does not offer good resolution)??

Thank you~~~
