I agree with you , even the World's largest cement group -Lafarge , and its subsidiaries in India, are working on large scale- for the same.

they have Separate companies, where by they first get the different wastes from different companies , like petroleum, paints, metal wastes, plastics and many others , tested in the lab, find out the level of polluting elements and sends the reports to the respective companies. further if the percentage of polluting elements is more than the global standards, they ask the companies to have arrangements to reduce the level of polluting elements and then take the material which isw waste for the manufacturer and is used as alternate fuel in the cement manufacturing process in the Klin.

They have separately emerged as a profitable venture in the environment conservation and fighter of global warming.
