Global warming is very important. However, research is yet to investigate it's health implications on mankind as a result of the effect on plants; or couldn't there be any? Scholars are already suspecting that global warming could have some adverse effect on the quality of food products by way of reducing crop yield, giving rise to the advent of genetically engineered plants!

In my opinion, global warming is like a rise in the temperature of the human body (fever), if not timely to cope with it and treat, it will cause seizure. One of the most effective ways to prevent global warming is "deal with deforestation".

I don't think the term 'Global Warming' is the suggested terminology anymore when describing 'Climate Change'. The reason being so that there are temperature related fluctuations in the environment, where certain geographies will experience unpredictable rainfall, others will see warming while some others might see other forms of change in natural phenomenon that would otherwise be generally predictable.

This is a serious development, given that the current scientific consensus is that this is a man made process, which only suggests that men need regulation. If left unchecked, people, in large numbers, just neglect common sense driven decisions. Like keeping your environment clean, keeping the air breathable, some basic things to live a normal life.

So, the short answer to this is regulation - to keep things in check. I can live without electricity - but not without clean breathable air. Simple enough logic, if you ask me...
