I´m using Leica VT1000 vibratome for slicing rat´s cerebellum for patch clamp experiments. Which parameters are better to use?

Back when I worked on cerebellum, we used the maximum amplitude, and a slow advancement speed (0.05 mm/s). The thickness depends on what you can handle (e.g. 200 or 300 um).
