In China, the nursery schools are required to close till the end of May. When the children go back to school, the teacher would check everyone's body temperature who come into the school and sterilize the classroom every day. In some region, the school needs to report every student's attendance to the local education bureau every day. All these measures tend to become a routine.
In Uganda, all schools closed including nursery until October that those in candidate classes were allowed to start official schooling under strict COVID 19 guidelines
COVID 19 guidelines were designed along with the already existing health services protocols. Therefore, the health care system had to cope with all cases and some isolation mechanisms up to the village level have been deployed. For example isolation ward at hospital level and home based isolation and care(HBIC) system. The hospital isolation has been effective somehow though overwhelmed with numbers especially the urban population; while the HBIC require an awareness campaign to the public to foster adaptation.
Recreation activities are still locked while food markets and other businesses are operational under strict covid 19 restrictions.
Covid pandemic has disturbed the mental health and well-being of children. Since the schools are closed, they are missing friends' company, freedom, playing outdoor games, direct interaction with teachers and friends; which is making them displaying mood swings and seclusive. Certainly, the parents are worried about the academics of children but more concerned about their well-being Pradeep Gupta. However, these changing lifestyles and study system will adversely affect the growth of children.
In Pakistan, the Government had opened the schools but after w to 3 month of 2nd wave of this Pandemic ,they took their descion and started online schools at kids home
