As per my hypothesis only a physical adsorption exist between TiO2 and Graphene.
In our work we observed a decrease in energy band gap for TiO2-Graphene composite i.e 2.83 eV whereas for TiO2 it was around 3.1eV. which clearly shows the fast mobility of electrons from the valence band to the conduction band and Graphene aids in this mobility
The main function of graphene is to readily accept the electrons from electron-hole pair generated on TiO2 surface during Irradiance. since graphene has high conductivity for electrons.
