Very good question put by Dr. Sawant. probably in these research we are giving shapes to our cruel thoughts into practical action, therefore, it may achieve functional immorality.
There is nothing cruelty about seeking new methods to cure diseases or improving longevity. As there there is nothing new in the proposal as humans have always tried to increase lifespan and solve theraputic problems. We have controlled so many diseases and reduce the pain, particularly for diseases like cancer through research. Immortality will definitely bring some challenges but human can overcome these challenges.
OK,I think cells has to communicate with each other through signal transduction and the key for this is the precise regulation of the Wnt signaling pathway, and the very first signal comes not from the cells , but from the extracellular matrix, that we are ignoring it, so we have to change our way of thinking a little bit.
Very good question.I am not at all from this field, but in some fiction book I read something very interesting which I will share.Theoretically speaking with the help of stem cell we can go for organogenesis(like growing organ outside human body). There is a possibility in future, where we will be able to grow organs from stem cell like if someone has diabetes, we may be able to grow pancreas for that particular person using that person stem cell. In that way there is no way that patient can reject that particular organ because that organ will be made by his own stem cell. This is totally fiction but in future anything is possible.
