I think the primary part is, what is the base of gross net happiness. Happiness is very much psychological corresponding to same environment.
I would rather put in a way that how psychological condition can influence the (gross net) happiness that can further influence Innovation.
'Innovation' as per my understanding 'Updates' at par global parameters & 'Happiness' with population resulted 'Safe' & 'Secured' future of 'Inhabitants'
My belief, It is 'Scientific' & 'Spiritual' organ of human development secured people round the corner
'Silence' with population invest 'Happiness' resulted betterment of number of development parameters

Spiritual is connected with Happiness and Scientific point means connecting to Innovation.
The spiritual organ is to remain joyous rather than the happiness because happiness is conditional and joyfulness is unconditional. Even though joyfulness and happiness are synonym but there is difference in real life.
And, if we go through this point of spiritual organ to be joyous is being not worried about Innovation 'Updates' compared to par global parameters.
