References says the power output of the PV module will decrease when the temperature increases. This is due to the reduction in Voc.
But the equations which relating to the temperature coefficient beta and Voc is like this
Voc= Voc+ beta*(Toperational-T reference)
So this equation says when temperature increases Voc increases.

Beta is always negative from around -0.2% to -0.45%/K so voltage reduces when temperature increases
You can see the effects of temperature on IV curves of any manufacturer. For example:

When the temperature increases, the current increases (slightly), but while the voltage decreases (significantly).
Here in chilly Norway this effect has been helping el production from pv for decades and compensates a little for the fewer sundays during a year here than in the south. Note: All pv modules are lab tested at 25C and the data sheets clearly shows what happens when temperatures rise to 50C or higher in the cells when the sun shines, while in Norway the low temperatures of minus 5-10C and the added value of reflection from surrounding snow in the winter is positive. So solar pv is great in mountain regains, but not only here also in all chilly parts of the world; US, Asia and Africa. "Take it to the mountain".

I have attached one file to let you understand the variation in the output voltage with change in the temperature. This is just a simple concept of PN Diode. This PV module is actually having the negative temperature coefficient, which cause decrement in the output voltage with higher value of the temperature.
Suppose you have a PV module having a rated power Pstc (in Wp) and a normal operating cell temperature NOCT (in °C).
Except for very small solar intensity*, the maximum power point P (W) under a solar intensity I (in W/m²) lies near:
P = ((Pstc . I)/1000) (1+Ap)^(tc-25) **
where Ap is the power temperature coefficient (in /K, take values, with sign, from Steve Ransome proposal) and tc is the cell temperature:
tc = ta + I . (NOCT-20) / 800
where ta is the ambient temperature (in °C).
Notes:
* Power is almost linear to solar intensity but not exactly. Linearity looses a lot at small I.

It is the property of semi-conductor that increase in temperature decreases the band gap (difference between valence band and conduction band) which increase the flow of electrons as they require lower energy to break the bond. This results in increase of short circuit current whereas decrease in the open circuit voltage which decreases the maximum power output. You can read further in detail in the given link

With temperature:
- current increases, with a temperature coefficient aI around +0.1% per K
- voltage decreases, with a temperature coefficient aV around -0.5% per K
As P = V.I, it comes that (dP/P) = (dV/V) + (dI/I) and power decreases, with temperature coefficient aP around -0.4% per K.
The "per K" refers to the increase of the cell temperature from the reference of standard test conditions (STC) temperature (25°C):
As (dP/P)=aP (supposed constant), it comes that the power can be written as:
P=PSTC(1-aP)(tc-tSTC) of which
P=PSTC[1-(tc-tSTC)*aP] is an approximation when aP is small ennough
The cell temperature can be calculated from ambient (tamb), solar intensity (S) and module normal operating cell temperature (NOCT, typically 45°C):
tc°C = tamb°C + [(NOCT°C-20°C)/800W/m²].S
The values of aV, aI and NOCT given here are for crystalline or polycrystalline glass to plastic silicon solar modules.
