I would like to know if heat energy is accompanied by visible light energy and they travel together or is that heat is the partial conversion of light energy?
Infra-red heat is indeed delivered along with light from the Sun.
Hold a black plastic bag up to the Sun.
You will feel the heat transmitted through the black opaque plastic.
The particles of carbon black are far smaller than the average IR photon's wavelength: and so do not scatter the heat as well as they scatter the light.
IR energy does travel from the sun as James suggests and as Ibrahim implies, a broad range of EM entravels with it.
This energy heats up the Earth by interaction with matter, specifically by energising electrons into a higher band-state.
Each photon / electron interaction depends on the energy content of the photon and the material concerned. So an electron may only capture a photon if very specific conditions exist.
At that point the higher energy electrons cause atoms to move faster (thermal vibration) which is the effect that you feel as heat.
