I prepared a nano ferrite, by co-precipitation method, doped with rare earth element that is multivalence. The size decreased with increasing the concentration of the doped cation, then it increased again at higher concentration.
Size of what who decreased? Lattice size?How much concentration you did dope with? What is the host material ((ferrite))? The information is too less.
The crystalline size from XRD decreased (the same the particle size from TEM) at concentrations less that 0.2 wt% and at concentration 0.2 wt% of the doped rare earth element the crystalline increased.
This is can be explained up on cations radii and their occupation tetra and octa sites.
