Are there any investigations about the effect of electric field on pH-sensitive dye?
An applied potential may exert an effect on the ionic concentration in the proximity of the dye. In this sense it can cause an increase or a decrease of the proton concentration so altering the pKa of those molecules.

In the elctric field of a very high strength, e.g. in the vicinity of the electrode , the both concentration and kinetic acidity of proton donors (i.e. H-acids) increases as a result of Wien-field effects :

You mean the electric field between contact electrodes in solution or between non contact isolated electrodes (as ac or high frequency electric field) ? Pure electrical field applying as external can be interesting to evaluate the pK values or pKwater. I think to apply very high electric field is difficult without side reactions and best way can be modulation.
Do any one know relationship between pKa and applied electric potential. I cannot find a refrence for it.
