There has been an increasing number of companies involved in the publication of papers. This has led to some predatory ones coming up also. How does one go after a reputable journal to publish a paper?
Firstly, you have check the indexing of the journal, weather it is Scopus or WoS.
Try to check the publication quality and the scientific content, for sure it will be clear.
The best is to check their indexing. If it is indexed in ISI, Scopus, DOAJ etc. then they are quality Journals. Any Journal which falsely claims to have indexed in those databases means they are not good.
There are many journals indexed in scopus but sometimes listed in predatory journal (for example in beall's list)

It is better to check whether the journal is Scopus indexed:

or ISI indexed:
http://mjl.clarivate.com/
You also try to avoid the journals with very fast review process (around 1-2 weeks). It is not advised to publish in these kinds of journals.
