Hi, I am working with pEGFP-N3 SV40 origin containing plasmid to assess transfection efficiency in different cell types. I am struggling to compare the efficiency of transfection between two cell types since one expresses the large T Antigen and the other does not. I check GFP expression 24h after transfection but I do not know whether these two cell types are comparable or not when using this method.
If I knew how long does it take for the a cell line with the large T Antigen to replicate a plasmid it would be easier to conclude but I found nothing about it. Could you lend me a hand?
