"Cytoplasmic alkalosis provokes anaerobic glycolysis and lactate/pyruvate production. My knowledge is incomplete in this field. What kind of tissues produce lactate? How big is their capability? How does penetrate lactate through membranes? Etc. I know that penetration of lactate is slower than carbon dioxide, there is a time-gap between them.
