I struck a goldmine coming across this spreadsheet template, and I am trying to use it for my research. However, the macros aren't functional in compatibility mode, and I can't even begin to imagine where I would find a machine still running Excel 1997-2004.
This may have a totally simple answer, but if so, it has gone over my head. Please, if you have successfully employed MAKESENS in your research, I could use the help in actually implementing it!
The link below looks relatively newer. Another approach is to use implementations of Mann-Kendall and Sens slope, for example in R.

I also had success in creating a virtual computer running Windows XP and Excel 1997 as a workaround! Hopefully this tidbit helps anyone else who stumbles upon this thread.
