I wrote my user subroutine in a single file with ".for" extension. first i wrote my codes for UMAT in the UMAT interface and then i wrote UAMP codes in the UAMP interface after UMAT. Did you mean that?

As explained by Daniel, you have to write all your subroutines UMAT and UAMP in one file with .for or .f extension depending of your OS (windows or linux).

I wrote all subroutines in one file but my problem is with UAMP i need to specify props for UAMP in the abaqus like UMAT but i don't know how to do this. in UMAT you specify props in the property module but where should i specify props for UAMP in the abaqus?

PROPS for UAMP should be entered in inp file or from UAMP itself. Unlike UMAT I guess you can't enter them directly through Abaqus CAE.

Hi everyone,

I'm writing here since I found the topic of this discussion nearly matching the problem which I'm facing with. I wrote two different subroutines (a VUMAT and a VUANISOHYPER-STRAIN) and I'm wondering if it is possible to include them in the same simulation. Calling them consequently in the simulation "launch-string" could be enough or do I have to write a unique file .f/.for managing the two different constitutive models within it?
