Any readyness programme that will bring most of the students , who are found to be much below their expected cognitive level in most of the subjects taught in Government secodary Schools (Class IX or X found to be only at V or VIth level only)
What are the identified core concepts, ideas, skills necessary for language acquisition, comprehension, mathematical operations etc. and how to engage these kids creatively, meaningfully taking into account that they have much richer life experience (around 14 - 15 years) whether in rural or urban setting ?
What do you do so that they can participate in Class discussions ?
not through Bridge course or tutorials but something of the kind - School readyness or Class readyness programme !

You can try engaging them in debating (topic must be related to their prior experience/reading/societal or global issue) or Social Media as they use this as a medium for communication as millennials.
