Count the total number of bands in a gel, prepare the binary data. e.g. if a gel showed 'total' 10 bands, checkout presence or absence of bands for each sample. e.g.

Sample 1: 1011100110

Sample 2: 0111011011

Sample 3: 1000010111

1- presence of band, 0- absence of band

Then use the softwares which are available online, as given by Nawroz Abdulrazzak
