Do you know how to display the "beta" value in the results table of the reference group (i.e, 0) for each explanatory variable in a conditional logistic model using R or STATA software? We are testing a new proposal of a statistical test and we need to obtain the value "0" of the reference group in the result table of the model.

In conditional logistic regression for matched analysis of case control studies, beta0 (or alpha) is not estimated by the maximum likelihood method because it can be set to zero see eg Breslow and Day .IARC Sci Pub 32 1980 chap 7 p 248-279

In Stata, type:
set showbaselevels on
This will give you the base level of the categorical variable you are using.
