Simple card games like Crazy Eights, Uno, Go Fish and War can improve working memory in two ways. Your child has to keep the rules of the game in mind. But he also has to remember what cards he has and which ones other people have played.
Keep away from all that can distract the child's attention, and that the time and place are appropriate to receive information so that it is easy to remember. Use the method of continuous training, repetition and repetition of the information that is required of the child remember them.
At the first stage memory of the children rest with mother who takes utmost care for the children right from the walking & with their understanding of the speech this becomes the basic root of entire children .With this while children entering in the primary stage parents have to observe the progress of their children carefully & if necessary they have to contact their school teacher this will certainly help the parent to take care of the children in a very right manner for progress.
It is in this line sometime back I have expressed my views in the line of memory of children which I submit herewith for your perusal
Child with the arrival on this earth receive the fruits of previous lives covering Mind , Brain , & divinity within himself which the passage of time makes him a boy & subsequently a Youth appearance which he has bought as a part of his destiny . Mother with the loving care of his child can also guide in the best possible way & as mother she understand the weakness of the child certainly with her observation while taking food, while playing ,while crying where mother should find her observation & reason for his annoyance & his reason of his crying .
If the mother after observation his expression ,behavior , of his child & play method of his child , she can send his child for playing with the children of his age so that with the observation Mother can know the change of his habits of his child . Besides mother should concerned a child specialist & also psychology for the observation .
Quite good readers may not agreed with my views but whatever the caste ,& religion of Mother is if she has her spiritual inclination & interest in the power of prayer ,mother can certainly help to considerably action .
Studies show that a child may quickly learn things by naming them, and within the first nine months he or she will be able to focus on what is being referred to, and will begin to focus on things in the next stage. Who speaks with him. Parents are advised to talk to the child, to enhance his or her intellectual skills by talking about different things. The child may not be able to understand those words, but to expand communication with them and encourage their social, cognitive and linguistic development.
There should be pressure of remember when you are learning something . When there was not mobile the people can remember phone number easily. There should be speed when you are learning due to speed you can focus only the context. There should be made interesting to learning.
Encourage your child to create a picture in his mind of what he’s just read or heard. For example, if you’ve told him to set the table for five people, ask him to come up with a mental picture of what the table should look like. Then have him draw that picture. As he gets better at visualizing, he can describe the image to you instead of needing to draw it.
Being able to explain how to do something involves making sense of information and mentally filing it. If your child is learning a skill, like how to dribble a basketball, ask him to teach it to you. Teachers do something similar by pairing up students in class. This lets them start working with the information right away rather than waiting to be called on.
There are lots of matching games that can help your child work on visual memory. You can also do things like give your child a magazine page and ask him to circle all instances of the word the or the letter a in one minute. You can also turn license plates into a game. Take turns reciting the letters and numbers on a license plate and then saying them backwards, too.

There’s a reason highlighters and sticky notes are so popular! Jotting down notes and underlining or highlighting text can help kids keep the information in mind long enough to answer questions about it. Talking out loud and asking questions about the reading material can also help with this. Active reading strategies can help with forming long-term memories too.
Ever wonder why phone numbers and social security numbers have hyphens in them? Because it’s easier to remember a few small groups of numbers than it is to remember one long string of numbers. Keep this in mind when you need to give your child multi-step directions. Write them down or give them one at a time. You can also use graphic organizers to help break writing assignments into smaller pieces.
Processing information in as many ways as possible can help with working memory and long-term memory. Write tasks down so your child can look at them. Say them out loud so your child can hear them. Toss a ball back and forth while you discuss the tasks your child needs to complete. Using multisensory strategies can help your child keep information in mind long enough to use it
Help your child form associations that connect the different details he’s trying to remember. Grab your child’s interest with fun mnemonics like Roy G. Biv. (Thinking about this name can help kids remember the order of the colors in the rainbow.) Finding ways to connect information helps with forming and retrieving long-term memory. It also helps with working memory, which is what we use to hold and compare new and old memories.
Telling stories of national successful world leaders, always provoke them to ask questions, clear all their doubts, always remain in contact with them physically or through any suitable media, keep in front of them a role model
