Dear M-r Manolis, you can use any component in PSPICE especially when you have an specific macromodel.

Simply SPICE code (modeling the resistor R2):

*Resistor divider of two series resistors R1-R2

R1 1 2 1k

*next  i write the resistor R2 with model parameters and additional model name Rm:

R2 2 0 Rm 1k

*define the resistors parameters when using the specific name Rm

* for the specific component model parameters is different

.model Rm RES(R=1 DEV=5% TC1=0.1 TC2=0.01)

V1 1 0 sin(0 10 1k)

.tran 0.1 2m

.probe

.end

if you need to check all characteristics of the new component better way is using the PSpice model editor. But when need to connect this new component in the circut try sintacsis of this command:

*comment

netlist of the external test circuit

.subckt {name} {nodes}

...netlist of the macros

.ends

.tran 0.1m 4m ; tran analyses

.ac dec 10 1 10meg ; frequency analyses

.probe

.end

Oh. Because the code I posted is not mine. It is a macromodel code. And I am not familiar with model editor. I know I have to use this code to model editor to create a new part, but I don't know how. I will try to create a subcircuit with the parts that the code suggests. Maybe it will work!

Dear Manolis, I export two models of the NMOS transistors (attachment files). Basic SPICE parameters for this models you can find from the IXYS manufacturer on the link:

In the attachment file you can find the created PSPICE model library, you can use this library to modify this model on the PSPICE model editor (PSPICE 9.1 or higher).
