Many times in my experience as an academic, I arrive at a conference venue with the nagging feeling that my paper is not yet what it should be.
Lead paper presenters have sometimes confessed to me before or after their presentation that they arrived the conference venue without having done justice to their papers. The feelings range from panic to a deep sense of responsibility.
When your paper deadline is here, the elements are ready but the paper is not perfected, what strategies do you adopt to have a top rate paper ready for your audience.

of course time management is important. But research is often not foreseeable and therefore things cannot be planned. Conferences are here for the exchange of ideas and not for showing off your published paper. Therefore most people understand that parts of the works are preliminary. Once you are on your way to the conference you don' t have any time left to improve, therefore I believe that being honest at presentations about which parts are preliminary, not entirely thought through and simply not finished and may change is the best strategy.
