All over the world, we see the rise of ‘startup hipe’, while being more aware of the importance of governance through books such as ‘The entrepreneurial State’ by Mariana Mazzucato. United Nations Sustainable Development goals, a form of global governance in a very loose term, has become the hot benchmark for impact investing and many investors across sectors, but also for academic courses. Are we coming to an era of focused sustainable development? Creation of new thinking paths, new business models - new industries, rise of alternative movements that are experimenting with, new lifestyles, new models of governance and new technologies trying to find the answer to Climate Change Challenge.

Will we be living in a world of avatar or mad max scene?

I strongly believe that this is up to us and this generation, we are the last ones that are able to make a significant change. However most likely we will be living somewhere in between.

And this is why I would deeply appreciate any engagement, comments and proposals on how do we try to advance the adoption of sustainable (or beyond sustainable) standards across the globe at an ever growing rate- exponential rate.

This is a webinar debate I hosted on the subject.
