Scientists recently have discussed the concept of a "Feeling of knowing" the sense that we know something, despite the fact that we have not actually retrieved it yet. I have a theory about how this FOK might work, based on my own work in implicit memory, explicit memory and Declarative memory but that work defines a body of theory, not an actual philosophy.
