The temporal elements could be defined in terms of duration of the phenomenon, the percieved experience or the building temporal experience. I assume you refer to the second but it's not clear your focus. In any case, you could search into the Mobile Embodied Interaction topic, I guess could help you.
Thanks, Different space and different time of the mobile user’s location colloids in the interactive time of the communication may lead to Mobile Embodied Interaction. . .
Interesting to think about how you might apply "Spatial" and "Temporal". I interpret your question as how people understand application benefits of mobile devices. I know many people who are spatially challenged, and could not navigate successfully without the use of GPS, no matter how familiar they are with their surroundings. Using GPS in your vehicle, or on any mobile device you might carry, is a Human technological support system. Internationally, it is relied on by people to find businesses, residences, and to determine available services wherever you are.
If you travel in unfamiliar territory, say for instance Italy, you can easily navigate without being familiar. You can find Great Grandma even though you don't speak the language. Her home can be reached by using services to negotiate your way to her address. Your temporal element has no time or destination barrier, because "There's an App for that".
So how does this affect personal lives? By example, you can see that we are not just a mobile society as we were with horse and buggy, then powered vehicles. We have growing access to world travel without a guide and itinerary. We can find our way around communities with expanding wireless service, even the most remote towns are gaining temporal elements to bring the world to them. You can leave home and go most anywhere you want, find most anyone or place- Google it. It's a personal revolution to those of us who are unafraid to spontaneously discover new horizons and cultures. It's an astounding revelation to those who fear the unknown and being lost.
