Most of the data and results on how online users evaluate data tracking are published by corporate businesses (i.e. Microsoft). However, even if asked, MS doesn't put their raw data into the public domain. So there is little possibility to verify any of the present results that are published in the media. Here in Canada, PIAC had a study on online tracking, but that is now five years old and - because of their research question - limited to the Canadian case. Are there recent 2013 or 2014 data from other countries that would make an international comparison possible?
